Moby & The Void Pacific Choir unveil new “Almost Loved” Remixes

“Normally when people refer to a void, it’s a big, dark, scary, thing – the dark, malicious, Nietzschean void, where if you stare too long into the it, it stares back into you. But we like the paradox of a pacific, peaceful void – a benign emptiness.” Moby & The Void Pacific Choir

LISTEN TO “ALMOST LOVED” REMIXED BY ACID WASHED HERE

After Moby remixed Monkey Safari’s Walls last year, the dark German duo return the favor for the Void Pacific Choir with a furious techno twist on the original. Aussie house head, Lo’99 juxtaposes bassy house surges with the enigmatic vocals over thudding beats. The ominous mood is continued by Acid Washed, who inject a sophisticated Kraftwerkian edge into the void.  For his own version, Moby pushes Los Angeles to the forefront of an exhilarating piano-led big room edit whilst Alexaert, formerly of French duo Beataucue, lends a thrilling French touch feel to his version.
