Inspiral Carpets

Craig Gill Rest in peace

We would like to express our sadness at the news of the passing of our friend and Mute artist Craig Gill of the Inspiral Carpets.
His talent, warmth and wonderful humour are going to be missed from this world.
From the moment Craig first came into the Mute office as a wide eyed teenager with the Inspiral Carpets’ magnificent debut album Life his energy and cheeky humour blew a breath a fresh air through the building and every time we would hang out, and what a drummer he was.
She Comes In The Fall!
Rest in peace Craig.

Our condolences go out to his wife Rose and their children Georgia, Orla and Levon and to his band mates and dearest friends Clint, Martyn, Graham and Stephen.
