MUSIC COMPLETE OUT NOW

NO Restless Digital Packshot

“‘Restless’ finds them sounding fresher than they have in ages.” – IDOLATOR

“From its elegant, atmospheric opening and bright, anthemic choruses to frontman Bernard Sumner’s trademark guitar tone and the welcome return of keyboardist Gillian Gilbert, ‘Restless’ recalls New Order’s 1985 LP Low Life.”  – ROLLING STONE

“‘Restless’ offers the stuck-in-your-head verses and hypnotizing melodies that fans have come to expect.” – V MAG

New Order announces their headline performance at Day For Night Festival in Houston, Texas on December 19th, 2015 in support of their brand new album Music Complete. Tickets are available here.

In addition, New Order has revealed the next remix of “Restless” by long-term collaborator, Andrew Weatherall, who has produced acclaimed remixes for New Order as well as artists like Björk, My Bloody Valentine, and Primal Scream.

Listen to the Andrew Weatherall remix here: www.youtube.com/watch?t=5&v=7GdjlXwe464

The remix is one of four featured on the “Restless” EP available from October 9, 2015, which also includes the extended version, and additional remixes from xxxy, RAC and Agoria.

The 12” green vinyl features both the Agoria and Weatherall remixes, along with the Extended Mix and a download code for access to the full remix bundle. The vinyl is available for purchase here.

New Order’s critically acclaimed new album, Music Complete, is available now on CD, download, black vinyl and limited edition clear vinyl. PRAISE FOR MUSIC COMPLETE:

Music Complete is the Manchester group’s best album in a quarter century.” – ROLLING STONE

“The record’s carefully considered aesthetic and meticulous production bear all the hallmarks of the band’s most iconic work.” – PITCHFORK

“At a time when so much popular music can be traced directly back to the roots of New Order and Joy Division, it’s cool to see those very same musicians — more than three decades later — still turning up to show everyone how it’s done.” – STEREOGUM

“this is a remarkable and unexpected return to form for a band who continue—decade after decade—to defy the odds.” – UNDER THE RADAR

“packed with songs that could fit in and stand up against the band’s prime-era hits” – VULTURE

“After three decades of influencing the sound and direction of electronic-based pop, New Order are still very much a part of the present and future of modern music.” – PASTE

“Despite the variety of shades and sounds, the LP’s surfeit of volcanic 4/4 anthems — calling back not only to synth-pop’s heyday, but the pre-New Order days of disco — leave it best-suited for the dancefloor.” – SPIN
