Announce the deluxe Nutcracker Snow Globe digital edition inc. 16 bonus tracks & 2 videos – out 1/2 December.

ERASURE (Andy Bell and Vince Clarke) have announced the deluxe digital edition of their incredible 2013 album, Snow Globe, a collection of original compositions and seasonal classics. Out on 1 December 2014 (2 December in North America), the Nutcracker Edition features the original album alongside 16 bonus tracks and videos for both singles: Make It Wonderful and Erasure’s take on the traditional Latin carol, Gaudete. The package features three previously unreleased tracks, including Knocking Ghost’s remix of Loving Man, listen here:

Produced by Erasure and Gareth Jones with additional production by Richard X, Snow Globe, unlike the bells and whistles, glitter and tinsel sets that crowd the market come Christmas-time, Snow Globe is possessed of something more in the wistfully, strangely subdued celebratory mould of recent seasonal albums by Tracey Thorn and Kate Bush.

Erasure, currently on tour through the UK and Europe, recently released their sixteenth studio album, The Violet Flame. The Violet Flame Tour follows their acclaimed US tour, and the UK leg includes two London shows at the Forum on 14 & 15 December. Parralox will support on the 15 November, support on first night comes from Iris Gold. The year will then end with two shows at New York’s Terminal 5 on 30 and 31 December (full details below). Fans currently have a chance to create their own remix of the track Sacred, courtesy of Blend.  The winner of the competition will have their remix included in the official release of Sacred, in addition to snagging a copy of limited edition vinyl of The Violet Flame.
